Masahiro, a boy with neither skill nor talent in art, somehow finds himself admitted to an art high school starting this spring. But his troubles begin immediately—he’s already at risk of failing the year! His older sister Rei, a teacher at the same school, worries about his bleak future. In a desperate move, she enlists the help of Konomi Sugiura, the most talented artist in the grade, to give Masahiro private tutoring. However, Rei delivers a harsh ultimatum to her brother: “If you can't submit a decent piece within a week, you'll be forcibly transferred.” Panicked, Masahiro throws himself into trying to improve.
