Koyuri Aizawa, a high school girl, dreams of becoming a picture book author—but her parents reject her aspirations and instead pressure her to get into a prestigious art university. In the spring of her first year, she happens to see a boy reading one of her handmade picture books with a joyful smile. Since then, she has wanted to talk to him. Now a second-year student, Koyuri is placed in the same class as the boy—Shirou Isogimi. Thrilled by this chance, she tries to approach him, only to discover that Shirou is burdened with a deep and unexpected personal struggle...
