Eighteen-year-old Shinya Fukazawa was depressed because of his inferiority complex to his superior older brother and his failure to pass the university entrance exam. One day, he is asked to help out at his grandmother's donut shop in Kyoto. However, what awaits Nobuya in Kyoto is not the simple doughnut store of his memories, but a neon-lit nighttime doughnut store that is sure to be a hit on social networking sites.
